My Antidisgruntilator for Mental Health
The English language is vague you see. Some words have many meanings. And the deflections and inflections are many, My thoughts swirl around as I listen. Some words and thoughts disgruntle me Shivers transverse my spine As I listen attentively To what you might have said And I ask what you intended Most people are nice and mean well. But I don’t always know what people mean by the words. Spoken to or about me. Though I listen carefully. I try not to think pejoratively. I don’t like to read negativity. Into what is said. Although some of the thoughts convey. To my dismay. A bit of disarray. So, into my head I built. An antidisgruntilator. Like a rose colored glass, It filters any words that pass. All incoming thoughts. I now put through. This clearing house. Happiness at last. And I don’t be disgruntled. Please read: The Brain That Changes Itself, Norman Doidge, M.D.
