Running Man

I am a running man. I find running keeps me fit in a physical sense, as well as mentally. Running is great exercise and I do it when I can.

Run man run

Run in the rain and snow

I also run under the sun when it’s hot

When the cold winds blow

When nothing’s chasing you

Run for pleasure and health

I ran down the trail

And through the cold stream

And up the next hill

Working my arms like pistons

Legs churning happily along

Eyes watching the path ahead

Lest I stumble like the horse

That watches his feet

Wind in my hair

Smile on my face

Long trail ahead

Greatest freedom

A man can know

When all is said and done

And this horse grows old

I will say I ran

I did I ran
