Eat Dried Plums (prunes) for Weight Loss
Prunes have lots of fiber, fiber that helps normalize blood sugar by slowing the digesting of food. Prunes play a role in preventing diabetes by increasing insulin sensitivity.
Prunes are a good dessert because they have natural sugar that satisfies the appetite.

Prunes are an excellent health food.[/caption]
Stewed prunes make a nice sweetener for things like oatmeal, cornmeal, squash, and sweet potatoes or in many dishes that you might want sweetened. They make a nice addition too many cookies and breads.
Plums are a very good source of vitamin C. They are also a good source of vitamin K, copper, dietary fiber, and potassium.
Prunes can prevent—and even reverse—osteoporosis, as reported by the British Journal of nutrition. Eating five to six prunes a day was shown to help prevent bone loss and keep the bones healthy.

Dried plums are a nutrient-dense snack food at any time of the day, but especially in the evening when we need good carbohydrates to help us sleep.
Your body may need a few weeks to learn how to digest foods like cheese and plums. Begin by eating a couple each day.
Preparation:
Place the dried plumbs into a pan with just enough water to cover them. Let them set for an hour. Cook on low heat for about ten minutes.
Instructions:
Dried plums can be stored in the refrigerator for a week of two. They may be left like they are after cooking or they may be stirred into a sauce-like mass. When using to sweeten foods like oatmeal or dried cereals they can be cut into pieces or just put into the dish.
