The Bermuda Triangle remains a mysterious place. Many people have tried to study the Bermuda Triangle and even more have tried to avoid it. While curiosity drives one, fear controls the other. [caption id="attachment_6084" align="aligncenter" width="300"]Bermuda Triangle Bermuda Triangle[/caption]

The Bermuda Triangle

A piece of paradise remained unclaimed When the world was young Not too hot, not too cold Just north of the equator The devil said, I want that triangle It will make a wonderful hell Right near your Caribbean paradise A fine spot for me to dwell The hot winds off the Sahara Will supply heat for hurricanes Continental drift will give me volcanoes The Gulf Stream will give directions And I will provide the deceptions

The Fight

The God of good and the master of deception Had a fight about that leftover delight The devil saw that he could not win But, being no stranger to a good fight He knew what to do when things were not right Keep that wretched patch of water Allah, he said Keep the whole damned Caribbean I will visit and make hell quite clear For those sea faring folk who blunder near If I can’t have my wishes I’ll feed your people to the fishes Please tell your flock to stay clear For, I’ll have no mercy, my dear.

The Texan

A Texan named George on a political junket Sailed the Ship of State I’ll come to the Caribbean he declared To fight evil and hate Into the devils face he sailed Some political rats paled But George prevailed And he took the good ship U.S.A.

Into Guantanamo bay

The devil spun the ship around a time or two Pitched it, yawed it, and heaved it about More rats scurried out But George stayed the course Much to the world’s remorse A new captain manned the hapless barque Brave, brash, unlearned and undaunted In many directions he departed Got a peace metal before he even started He embarked to make his mark I’ll take it to the heartland of the U.S.A. Chicago style politics will rule the day I’ll make the world my place to play

I'll Follow You

But the devil declared, I’ll follow there And strew your land with airplanes Also, bits of your remains And with a roll of thunder He split the sails asunder On a desert island he placed the merry crew Oh Ho! He shouted With you on this wafer, hell will be safer This looks very much like Iraqi There he placed George, Nancy and Barack

Magic Vase

The lanky captain found a magic vase He rubbed it in delight, with all his might The devil sprang out and politely smiled Three wishes only and don’t get wild Without his teleprompter, the captain replied Send me home with my wife and family To Kenya with loin cloth and spear, went he Not by land, not by sea, but directly George pleaded; Send me to Texas Is all I ask Now a new long horn steer grazes With stately dignity and presidential air And laments, this is not fair

Nancy's Fury

Nancy rebelled and would not be quelled She banged on Satan’s head with her gavel I didn’t give them permission to travel I wish them returned Mister Satan Or you will really meet the devil The pair of politicos returned They had bungled and were disgruntled Satan had met his match He dispatched them down the hatch And trimmed the sails in hast Lest they escape I want nothing to do with this crew This hell was replete and quite neat Without the malice and discontent Out of hell they were sent

To D.C. Sent

A hurricane was summoned And thrust them ever northward The devil said, D.C. is where they belong There they can do much wrong At the gates of hell Satan mused I have been assaulted and abused My triangle seems like a haven now He stood tall and northward shouted Sail on, my hearty mates Sail on, and on, and on O ship of fools That good ship Lollypop Hell is a state of mind Please be so kind And stay out of mine And he blew the wind harder
