Juggling Just Takes a Lot of Practice and It Pays Off Big Time
- Start with one ball—don’t be embarrassed.
- Just toss it and catch it. An easy way is to stand near a sofa or big chair, easier to recover.
- Then use two balls and just toss them from hand to hand.
- Relax and keep doing it. Give it a few weeks of practice (Depending on your age and abilities).
- Then toss the third ball.
- This takes time, focus, concentration—and much practice.
My one Grandson learned quickly. At 83-years of age, I will spend longer hours at this task.
This is a good exercise to help prevent falls for people of any age. Juggling practice will help in recovering from slipping on the living-room carpet, stepping off a curb, or stepping on the cat.
Make Your Own Juggling Balls at Home with Old Socks
Put a handful of rice, beans, or anything that is available, in a sock and tie the ends. This can be fun and costs very little. Don’t try it with raw eggs until you get more practice.
